Paradigm Health hospice physician Dr. Karthik Polsani was recently granted the Hospice Medical Director Certification by the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board. The knowledge base and competencies required of hospice physicians include a unique subset of palliative medicine that may not be covered fully in broader training.
This professional certification affirms a knowledge and experience base for hospice physicians to display commitment to their career, dedication to patient and family care, and the sustainability of the hospice organization. Dr. Polsani is board-certified in internal medicine and currently serves as a hospitalist for Community Health Network.
